Tennis Information

We are a small and friendly club in the heart of the Garden Village, and we welcome new members from the Garden Village. Our membership rates are very competitive. We have a range of membership types available: – adult, family, couple, student, guardian and junior. Details of all these rates can be found on our website using the link at the bottom of the page.

Our two courts on Rosewood Avenue (opposite the bowling club) are all weather artificial grass, so we play tennis throughout the year (weather permitting).

Bring your racquet, come and meet us to have a go. Saturday afternoons from 1.30pm is a good time to come along, as there will always be players there (weather permitting). We also have racquets for guests to borrow if required.
You can play initially as a visitor, enabling you to find out more about the club before you join.

We cater for all standards of play. Even if you have not played before we will be happy for you to come for a couple of taster sessions to try it out, and to talk to other players.  If you are already a keen player, competitive tennis is played within the club and we enter teams in local leagues.  The courts are available for play all year round and balls are always provided.

We offer discounts for households so please encourage your partner or children to come.

Members can use the free on-line booking system to see court availability and reserve a court.

Social tennis sessions allow any player to turn up without booking and play socially with other members of the club.

We have all-year round Saturday afternoon adult social play sessions (from 1.30pm), and between April and October we have other social play sessions as follows:-
Monday – Mixed, Tuesday – Men’s, Wednesday – Ladies (All from 6.30pm till 9pm.)
Fridays from 3.30pm till 9pm – Juniors, Families and Guardians social play

We also have a vibrant junior and adult coaching programme available for members of the club. These are run by our award winning coach, Ian Pearson-Brown who has over 20 year’s coaching experience with our club.
Junior coaching takes place on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons, and Adult coaching on Saturday mornings.
