Committee and Volunteers

Gosforth Garden Village Hall is a well-used and much-loved space enjoyed by the community and visitors.

As can be imagined it takes quite a bit of work to ensure that the hall and it’s grounds remain up to scratch, safe and clean. The smooth running of the hall is managed by a hard-working committee who work towards their mission:

To actively manage the Village Hall and site in service to the residents of Garden Village. To ensure the Hall and site support our local community by making it accessible and available for a range of diverse leisure and health promoting activities. We will act as custodians of the Hall and site so it grows to support the community of Garden Village today, tomorrow and into the future.

All of the committee members are volunteers and are joined by a wider group of additional volunteers who each take on all the jobs needed from delivering newsletters to gardening to running repairs…and a lot in between!

The committee can always do with additional help, whether for a one of event or for all the regular tasks. If you would like to volunteer, please do get in touch on this email address: chair@ggva.co.uk

Volunteers Wanted – Be Part of Our Community!

Our community hall is run by local people, for local people — and we need your help! We’re looking for friendly volunteers to support events, help with bookings, lend a hand with maintenance, or join our management committee.

Whether you can spare a few hours a month or want to get more involved, your time will make a real difference. Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, learn new skills, and support a space that brings our community together.

No experience needed — just enthusiasm and a willingness to help.
