Our Main Room has a capacity of up to 50 persons. The Small Room, is up to 10 persons.

Although the Village Hall isn’t manned, we do have time limits. Events cannot start before 8am and must be finished by 6.00pm.

Regular clubs, sports teams and community groups make use of the centre throughout the week. Our up to date Calendar displays all upcoming public and private hire events.

There are a few rules we ask our hirers to adhere to in order to keep the Garden Village hall a safe, clean and welcoming community space for all. Full details of expectations will be shared at time of booking, though these are likely to important ahead of time:

Guests must park on the opposite side of the road to the Hall.
Hirers are welcome to use the garden area attached to the hall, but may not use the bowling green.
Fires, fireworks and lanterns are not permitted anywhere in the Hall or grounds due to restrictions in our insurance.
The Hall is run by volunteers, we don’t have a caretaker so please leave the space in a clean condition and please follow the departure checklist.

The Village Hall offers a light and bright space to hire. As well as tables and chairs, outside space and heating, hirers can enjoy use of a full kitchen and bathroom facilities. Full details are provided at booking.

We welcome Private bookings (for birthday parties, etc), and community bookings (to host a recurring class, etc). For details of dates and available times, use the Calendar Page to find a slot, then simply select 'New Booking'.
